I think JP is worried about me because all I like to watch on TV is baking contests, shows about picking wedding dresses, and those MSNBC specials about severely depraved killers and unsolved mysteries.
My sunburn is peeling. Gross.
I saw Sex & the City 2 and everything you read about it is true. All I could think as they showed shots of Abu Dhabi, in all its richness and splendor, was, we built that city. Our ridiculous consumption of oil did that. Not to get all soap-boxy, because I own a car and I use it. But still. The opulence was quite disgusting. Other than that, it was a fun movie.
JP leaves for Seattle in a few days. He will be gone for two weeks, during which time I plan on barricading myself in the house. Should be fun and not terrifying at all. LOL...

Date: 2010-06-04 05:47 am (UTC)From:Well if he should happen into the shop... he could potentially get an incredibly overpriced Hammering Man magnet ($7), or there's the Kurt Cobain show going on now so there's all sorts of grunge-inspired goods (hats made out of old flannel and jeans, wallets made out of shoes and tires). What I would recommend most, though, (mainly cause I want one) is a stuffed toy called a Snooter Doot. :D You can look at the Snooter Doot adoption center here.
Otherwise, mini meals are relatively cheap and exciting, if they're in stock. I'll leave that one a mystery.
