melcreada: (dr. who cartoon)

I recently re-watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and cried through half the damn thing. It was an emotional blood bath.

For the better part of today I was plopped in front of the TV, watching BBC America's Being Human marathon (I was also on my laptop, "working," so I was not a total lump). I quite enjoyed most of the episodes I caught - Aidan Turner is hubba hubba! I love the friendship between him and George and the chemistry among the trio. ♥

I did my tax return and it wasn't as good as last year, but Turbo Tax has assured me that I have been getting that "extra" money in every paycheck from 2010, so I should just shut up about it already (they didn't actually say that, but it's what they meant). Oh, well. That's the way the cookies crumbles.

Mmmm, I still have Girl Scout cookies...

Okay, time to pass the fuck out.

- Still no announcement about the job. Slow burn.
- I felt so gross yesterday, I called in sick. Spent two hours at the doctor and get to go back in 2 weeks.
- I hate the doctor.
- Everything I eat is making me sick to my stomach so I haven't eaten a whole lot lately, yet my doctor's scale assures me that I am the fattest I have ever been.
- Ugh. Exercise.
- I am so stressed about a stupid meeting next week that I can't focus. I need to study up on the topic and work on some notes this weekend so I can be prepared.
- I received my bonus, so that was cool.
- Need to do my taxes.
- Friday night tax party?
- Was invited out tonight. Not sure why I said no (other than being sick, but really, I am not so bad that I can't go hang out with my friend).
- Whatever. I am in a bitch of a mood.

I'll stop now.

Very long week consisting of me playing catch up at work while trying to kick out all the additional projects dumped on me at the last minute. Is it possible to be insanely busy and deathly bored at the same time?

I still need to cull cruise pictures, but today was spent rearranging my closet (almost done, go me!) and shopping. Mmmm, shopping. I swear to God I am going to find some nice, matching nightstands that not only fit with my decor but are also $50 or less. I am determined.

I did my tax refund last night. I hope it is correct because it's a lot larger than last year. Not that I'm complaining, but for some reason, I have always been terrified of the IRS.

In other news, my boy Elliott Yamin has a record deal. Huzzah! Even more disturbing - I am loving the long, curly locks. Help!

Off to enjoy the delights of chocolate hazelnut tea and Super Gals 2. ^______^
